The flowers used to create the wedding bouquets and accompanying flowers are specially selected by our growers and delicately packed and sent to us so as to arrive in the best possible condition. Choosing Your Flowers
Once you have chosen the colour theme of your wedding, it is time to make an appointment with us. It is important the colour of your bridesmaid dresses has been finalized because the colour of the dresses, usually dictates the rest of your wedding day colour theme. Allow an hour for the appointment with us and remember to bring a swatch of fabric of your wedding dress and that of the bridesmaids with you so we can create the best colour combination for your flowers. If you have ideas or pictures of things you like, bring them along to the appointment with you but it is not essential as we have many books dedicated to wedding flowers and a large portfolio of our own work for you to look at. Don’t scrimp on your flowers! Flowers are the focal point of your wedding (aside from you) regardless of whether you are working with a small or large budget, flowers should be a high wedding priority as they can provide so much impact for relatively little expense. Church Flowers
Similar flowers are used in church arrangements which help to create a festive atmosphere at the ceremony prior to your arrival. Pew ends are a good way to decorate a church and can be used at the reception also on present table, signing table etc, or given away as a thank you. Your church flowers can be utilized at the venue for pre-dinner drinks or displayed on our columns behind the wedding couple or somewhere in the room where they give the best effect. We are able to include the transfer of such arrangement in your quote.

Reception Flowers
Reception flowers set the mood, again try not to scrimp too much as the wow factor on entering the room is uplifting and creates a festive mood. We can work with all budgets to give your wedding the best results. Some reception venues offer reception flowers as part of a wedding package and we have a portfolio of photos to fit the package price allowed.

Getting Married in Townsville
Do you live away and getting married here? Don’t be put off. We can plan all your flowers by email and by talking on the phone. Email is wonderful just give us the details and some pictures you like and we can quote on your wedding and work out all the details without you being in our studio. It is that easy.

Delivery on the Day
The flowers are best delivered to the nominated address or hotel no more than 2 hours before the ceremony time. They are delivered nestled in a box on tissue paper and covered in cellophane. We have sprayed your flowers with clearlife to prevent moisture loss and therefore should not be sprayed with water. We suggest they are left as is in the box until you are ready to have your photographs taken.
